Great to see a new version of Kiwi syslog – I had concerns that it was going to fade into obscurity when they we taken over by Solarwinds but no – a new release with the ability to see the syslog info via a web browser has arrived. For those that haven’t used it – Kiwi Sylog is a syslog server – running on windows which allows you to capture and filter syslog messages from remote servers – and can be combined with other tools to allow windows events to be forwarded for capture !!
You can get the free cut down version from http://www.kiwisyslog.com/ and an example of a windows event log to syslog tool is at https://engineering.purdue.edu/ECN/Resources/Documents/UNIX/evtsys/
I’ll be back with an update if anything major has changed in the other areas of the program.
