A Dell Poweredge 1850 – a few weeks old – seems to have decided that unscheduled breaks and downtime are its perogative and its going to exercise it ! AV and spyware checks reveal nothing. Dell diagnostics and Dset report – shed no light.

So what might it be ….

Postscript – the problem turned out to be an issue with printing on a client linked via Terminal services client.
